Volunteer Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant Program: Child Care - Preschool Age Children (2-5 years) Location: West Side, St. Mark’s Church, 50 Dexter Drive, Saint John Qualifications and Skills: Current and clear security clearance with vulnerable sector screening (must be at least 16 years old). Flexible, energetic, creative and patient. Experience with children would be an asset. Responsibilities: Assist Educator with children during all activities inside or outside the centre Assist Educator with preparation as well as participating in field trips and community walks while providing continued assistance to the Educator Assist Educator in the playroom with art projects, reading to children and becoming the children’s play partner Use respectable language at all times Well groomed and appropriately dressed in clothing that is fitting for the position and that will leave the best possible impression on the public.
