As the national government confronts pressing challenges to improve healthcare access,
quality, cost control, and outcomes, our client is positioned to help tackle these challenges
through their nationally recognized staff. Services are broad based including providing expert
advice/guidance in the areas of program and project management focused on increasing the
effectiveness and efficiency of strategic information management and technical activities. As a
mission driven, non-profit organization, they provide a wide range of support including
advanced healthcare analytics, implementation support, vulnerability analysis, systems analysis
and cost effective studies, performance metrics, modeling and simulation, selection and
implementation of analytic tools to improve efficiency.
Our client is seeking a high energy individual who can provide both tactical and strategic
leadership to this $30M+ practice. Maintaining the organization’s record of innovation and
quality is critical as well as providing a strong focus on business expansion.
Specific Responsibilities:









Oversees day-to-day operations of a Health Care Solutions Division
Works with current Directors to establish and execute growth plan for federal
healthcare opportunities
Division provides independent analysis about the DHHS vulnerabilities and the
effectiveness of systems deployed to make DHHS more effective in providing healthcare
services and implementation of new healthcare initiatives
Develops and deploys analytical tools and techniques to evaluate system alternatives
(e.g., policy-operations-technology tradeoffs, etc.) and life-cycle costs that have broad
application across federal healthcare agencies
Develops measurable performance metrics, models, and simulations for determining
progress in securing data for healthcare delivery in the federal sector
Provides independent and objective operational test and evaluation analysis support
Develops recommendations for guidance on the best practices for standards particularly
to improve the inter-operability of healthcare across the federal government
Assesses technologies and evaluates technology test-beds for accurate simulation of
operational conditions for optimal program delivery
This position reports to the Principal Executive Vice President for Business Development
& Program Delivery. The primary mission of this position is to lead a fast-paced, cuttingedge consulting group to be a key partner with the executive leadership at HHS/CMS,
VA, DoD, HHC-CDC, and other state and federal agencies.
Position Requirements:
Requirements include a 20+ year track record of success managing healthcare federal
government agencies or a federal government consulting practice. Current knowledge of HHS
and CMS is a plus. Our client seeks a hands-on leader who has a demonstrated track record in
business transformation policy and program analytics and information technology. The ability
and interest in building a first-rate, high integrity, and profitable business in the federal
healthcare sector is required. Candidates must be comfortable working in a team-oriented,
diverse, value added, collaborative but focused bottom-line driven culture.
Education: Master’s degree required; Ph.D., Public Policy, Public Health Management, or MD
considered a plus
Total compensation includes a competitive base salary, strong incentive program, and first-rate
