The derivation and validation of a clinical prediction tool for ICU mortality in Canadian octogenarians.
Research Interests
Dr. Ball spends his clinical time as an ICU consultant in the Critical Care Trauma Center at Victoria
Hospital, as a Consultant Toxicologist for the Ontario / Manitoba Poison Center, and as a Consultant
Physician with the LHSC Regional Trauma Program.
His research interests include: prediction tool methodology, rehabilitation in critically ill patients, end of
life care in the ICU, and organ donation.
