This year the Sue Spooner Memorial Trophy is awarded to Sanniesebos Spooner - a Ch.
Sondu Casca son by AI who has done very well in both the Conformation and Discipline
arenas.
“Saluting the true worth of a working Bullmastiff” Sue Spooner.
Sue would be very proud and we congratulate her husband Donald on this truly
remarkable achievement
Other contestants in the KUSA disciplines were Ch. LaGratitude African Dream of Haaita (“Kiki”) CBA,
DMA, CGC (silver) and Ch. Chizelhurst Checkmate of Haaita both owned by Ria Steyn of KZN
No other results were submitted
The Breed and Discipline point sheets are kept separate as they are two different entities - members
who participate in these disciplines record & submit their points accordingly which all get lumped
together at the end as points won by the said dog. This has been the procedure from the beginning
(2011) and has not been changed in any way.
The CBA has nothing to do with Agility and has never been classed as such - it is a recognized
Discipline of its own – KUSA Schedule 05F (9.1.11). The CBA has always been part of the total point
system which is recorded and available for any member to peruse. Any KUSA registered Bullmastiff
over the age of 18 months with a HD & ED grading & positive identification is eligible to enter. The
2015 CBA schedule was advertised in the July 2015 CBC newsletter and sent to all members.
The CBA is a KUSA licenced activity & the Show Schedule and Judges have to be approved on
application for a licence & have to be published on the KUSA (& other) web sites prior to the activity.
The results have to be submitted to KUSA for verification and recording.
“Kiki” earns her CGC (silver)
