Dear Parents We would like you to make a Tudor house with your child. The type of house that would have been around in the 17th Century. When the children return after the half term holidays we will be learning about the Great Fire of London. Houses in those days were made of wood, tall and thin and usually had a thatch roof. It can be made from different 2d shapes out of cardboard or thick paper, black strips of card or painted lolly sticks can be added to the walls of the house, wool or other material could be used to make the thatched roof – it can be 2d or 3d in shape. Please bring in your Tudor houses by Monday 16th November and they will be used as part of a display on the Great Fire of London. We are hoping to recreate Pudding Lane at the time of the Great Fire. If you need any cardboard or other material please come and see us. Have fun! Dear Parents We would like you to make a Tudor house with your child.
