WINGS Foundation Job Description Job Title: FLSA Status: Reports to: Clinical Manager - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Exempt Non-Exempt Executive Director Date Prepared: December 2015 (Or revised) JOB PURPOSE: As Clinical Manager, LCSW for WINGS Foundation Inc., this position is responsible for facilitating and supervising WINGS’ clinical programing in the LCSW track. The Clinical Manager, LCSW will hire, train, supervise and evaluate all designated clinical volunteers/staff group facilitators, in direct collaboration with the Senior Clinical Manager, LPC. Together, the WINGS clinical team manages the organization’s efforts to serve as a state and national leader in treating unresolved childhood sexual abuse-related trauma in adults through our therapist-facilitated support group program, also providing clinical training presentations to professionals and community agencies. This is a 22 hr/week, unbenefited position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Conduct supervision meetings for up to 40 group facilitators with a blend of licensed, eligible and masters level students on a monthly basis, providing a safe environment for facilitators to discuss issues related to their WINGS group. 2. Supervise any additional clinical and/or victim resource interns for Services for Survivors Program components. 3. Maintain confidentiality of individual group facilitators and WINGS members. 4. Oversee training and continuing education of group facilitators regarding professional boundaries and ethics, group dynamics, group structure, childhood sexual abuse survivor issues, etc. 5. Answer questions and respond to urgent needs of WINGS staff and facilitators related to group process, ethics, and professional standards; Notify Executive Director and any other clinical or program staff of any issues requiring attention that arise in supervision. 6. Oversee all necessary facilitator paperwork. 7. Conduct requested clinical trainings to partners and agencies. 8. Aid in conducting member intakes. 9. Provide crisis management and intervention to support WINGS members and facilitators. 10. Facilitate ongoing weekly WINGS group or experience with facilitating groups. 11. Collaborate with Program and Executive Director to enhance WINGS’ preferred provider network and WINGS Trauma-Informed Clinical Training Series. 12. Participate in clinical aspects of WINGS’ annual conference. 13. Participate in annual and/or bi-annual group visits. OTHER DUTIES: 1. Other duties as assigned. Ability to provide clinical assessment, evaluations, and intakes Ability to communicate and comply with LCSW requirements as indicated with the Department of Regulatory Agencies Manage preferred provider network Education Master’s degree in a mental health field such as Counseling, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Licenses, certifications Requesting LCSW license for this position in order to enhance the diversity of the clinical expertise and supervisory capacity of the WINGS Services for Survivors Program Experience Generally, 3 years of experience including group facilitation, recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers, childhood sexual abuse, and group dynamics. Experience supervising master’s level clinicians. Licensed as a social worker in the state of Colorado for a minimum of 2 years Trained in trauma informed care Requires a minimum of 3 years of group facilitation and/or community training experience Equipment Utilized General office equipment such as a computer, scanner, fax, and telephone. Software Utilized Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. Scope of Authority, Financial Authority, and Communication Communicates with prospective and current group members, facilitators/volunteers, staff, the Board of Directors and the outside community. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position oversees a large group of facilitators/volunteers and student interns in the LCSW/LPC track. This is a part-time (22 hrs/week) position in our Lakewood office reporting to the Executive Director.
