Topic: Intelligent Manipulation of Controllable Magnetic Fields –

Concept to Realization – Case Studies

Abstract: An overview of a variety of examples that deploy intelligent manipulation of controllable magnetic fields is presented. Magnetic Field

Assisted Assembly is described in detail as a future scalable manufacturing process for semiconductor device integration with significant improvement in yield and reduction in costs. Magnetic field augmented rotational system is presented as a future approach to energy

needs in a number of situations. The proposed examples address applications in key areas of the economy including energy, healthcare, manufacturing and materials.

Zhouzhuang, the ancient town with a history of more than 900 year, is 40 kms away from Suzhou. As a famous tourist city of Jiangsu province, it has been crowned as the oriental Venice, attracted countless tourists worldwide with the typical landscape of the waterside village, south of Yangtzi River.

Itinerary (tentative)

9:00 gather at the 1 st

floor of Vienna International Hotel

9:00 take bus to Zhouzhuang

Scenic spots: Zhang’s House (30 minutes), Shen’s House (40 minutes), Twin bridges

(20 minutes), Fu’an Bridge (15 minutes), Pacific bridge (15 minutes), the Ancient

Platform, Chenxu Taoist Temple return by bus, back to the hotel to end the pleasant trip
