Setting : starbucks coffee shop
Characters: A & B (teenage waitress/waiter)
(A walks into coffee shop and orders an extra large Americano then goes and sits at a table with books)
B: hi, welcome to starbucks, how may I help you?
A: can I get an extra large Americano, please?
B: yeah
(B makes coffee and walks over)
A: thank you
(B starts to walk away then stops and asks…)
B: you look rather busy
(A responds looking annoyed)
A: yeah
(B walks away)
A: HEY! Can I have a refill?
B: yeah sure
(B walks over to coffee machine only to find its not working)
B: (whispers) uh-oh (tries to fix machine)
(A becomes agitated)
A: is something wrong over there?!
(B walks over to A)
B: i'm sorry ma’am/sir but our machine doesn’t seem to be working temporarily
(A stands up)
A: what do you mean it doesn’t work?!
(B backs up)
B: umm…it broke, its gonna take just a second to fix, no worries
(A sits down very annoyed)
(B walks away to coffee machine and fixes it)
A: hurry up!
B: it’s coming!
(B scurries over and trips and spills the coffee)
(Both A and B stare at the spilled coffee in shock)
A: what is wrong with you?! Clean this mess up and go get me another one!
(B looks terrified)
B: yes….right away
(B hurries back to coffee machine and rushes to get another coffee then goes back over to A)
(A sips coffee and spits it out)
A: what did you put in this!?
B: I’m sorry, Its what you ordered though, an extra large cappuccino right?
(A looks dumbfounded)
A: no, I ordered an extra large Americano!
B: oh….
(A stands up)
A: do I have to do everything myself?!
(A walks over to machine and gets coffee her self)
(B stands there unsure what to do)
(A walks over to table with coffee and gathers up her books and papers, then begins to walk out)
B: uhhh…ma’am
(A turns around annoyed)
A: what?!
B: that’ll be $3.50 please
(A searches through pockets and realizes she doesn’t have any money)
A: I don’t have any money on me
(B reaches in and grabs coffee away)
B: then this is mine
(B takes coffee and walks away behind the counter and takes a sip)
(Both A & B freeze)
