Schools of Education Learning Collaborative Kutztown University College of Education Background and Survey Deployment Information This survey is designed to address the following target audiences, and is designed to collect the following types of information: Graduating teacher education Information about how well prepared graduating students students feel regarding core teaching Cooperating teachers that mentored a competencies (based on InTASC and KU’s student teacher during the past Conceptual Framework), and how well prepared semester KU faculty and mentor teachers feel they are; the Kutztown University faculty that impact teacher candidates had on P-12 student oversaw student teachers during the learning, and any recommendations for improving past semester the internship semester in the future Graduating counselor education students Information about how well prepared graduating School counselors that mentored a students feel regarding school counseling school counseling student during the competencies (based on CACREP), and how well past semester prepared KU faculty and mentor counselors feel they are; and any recommendations for improving Kutztown University faculty that the internship semester in the future oversaw school counselor interns during the past semester Graduating education leadership Information about how well prepared graduating students students feel to take on school leadership roles To deploy the survey and begin data collection, Eduventures recommends that Kutztown University circulate the survey URL to KU faculty that have overseen KU students completing internships in the schools this semester. KU faculty can complete the survey, but also circulate/forward the survey on to cooperating/mentor teachers, school counseling mentors, and graduating teacher education students and school counseling students for completion.
