Theme 1. Epidemiology of tuberculosis. Etiology, pathogenesis of tuberculosis. Immunity in

case of tuberculosis. Clinical classification of tuberculosis. Supervision of the patients.
Theme 2. General approaches to diagnostics of TB. Special methods of TB revealing and

diagnostics of tuberculosis (microbiologic diagnostics, roentgenologic diagnostics, tuberculindiagnostics). Application of modern diagnostic methods (test with allergen skin recombinant,
quantiferon test) in the diagnosis of tuberculosis infection. Supervision of the patients

Peculiarities of course of primary TB forms in children and adolescents.
Theme 6. Disseminated pulmonary TB. Miliary TB. TB of the nervous system and brain
membranes. Pathogenesis, pathologic morphology, clinical symptoms, diagnostics, differential
diagnostics, treatment, consequences. Supervision of patients.
Theme 7. Focal and infiltration pulmonary TB. Caseous pneumonia. Pulmonary tuberculoma.

Fibrous-cavernous and cirrhotic pulmonary TB. Pathogenesis, pathological morphology,

of secondary forms of TB (hemoptysis, pulmonary bleeding, spontaneous pneumothorax,
chronic pulmonary heart, amyloidosis of the internal organs). Pathogenesis, clinical symptoms,
diagnostics, treatment. Supervision of the patients.
Theme 8. Pulmonary TB associated with occupational diseases. TB in HIV/AIDS patients.
