V.- ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES:
1.- Area of specialization:
Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacy Practice.
2.- Teaching activities:
1987-1990 : Tutor for the Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy, which was held by the
Ministry of Health of Kuwait in coordination with the School of Pharmacy of the
Queen’s University of Belfast.
1992-March 2003: Assistant professor. College of Pharmacy, Al-Isra Private
University.
March 2003-December 2008: Associate Professor. College of Pharmacy, Al-Isra
Private University.
December 2008: Professor in Pharmacy. College of Pharmacy, Al-Isra University
1992-Present: Lecturing the following subjects in the College of Pharmacy, Al-Isra
Private University. Jordan: Physiology to 2nd and Biochemistry to 3rd year pharmacy
students, Clinical Biochemistry to 4th year pharmacy students and Pharmacy Practice
and Legislation to 5th year pharmacy students.

Prescriptions.
3.- Research activities at Al-Isra Private University :
1. Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy.
2. Identification and characterization of the lifestyle of patients with specific diseases
in the Jordanian population such as : Diabetic, Breast cancer, Postmenopausal
HRT, Smoking cessation, Hypertensive and Hyperlipidemic patients.
3. The use of HPLC technology for the detection of unlisted materials in cosmetic
preparations
4.- Administrative activities at Al-Isra Private University :
In addition to teaching duties, I was assigned since 1977 as the Head of Pharmacy
Department in the College of Pharmacy, and from time to time I worked as acting
Dean of the College of Pharmacy during the absence of the Dean. Since Dec.2007 I
was assigned as the Vice-Dean of the College of Pharmacy. Since June 2007 also, I
was assigned as the Head of Nursing Department. During the academic year
2007|2008 I was assigned as the Dean for both Colleges of Pharmacy and Nursing.
Since March 2008 tell September 2008 as the Dean for the College of Pharmacy only.
And since May 2012 as the Dean for the College of Pharmacy tell present.
