ETHICS OFFICER CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME 12 – 16 MARCH 2012 The King III Report on Corporate Governance indicates that corporate governance is grounded on an ethical foundation, and also sets guidelines on the management of ethics in organisations. This course will provide participants with practical, skills-based knowledge to enable them to fulfil their Ethics Officer responsibilities. Preparing current and future Ethics Officers for their various roles and responsibilities increases the effectiveness of an ethics office, reduces organisational risk, and prevents the waste of time and resources. Since then, the Ethics Institute of South Africa (EthicsSA) has trained over 390 individuals from the public and private sectors, both in South Africa and in other African countries.
