You will submit a historical rationale explaining the historical basis for your Language A English allegory. Your rationale should explore how your allegory is a symbol for one of the historical events, patterns, or themes we have studied in our unit on the industrial modern period (Industrial Revolution-1919). 1. Paragraph One: Introduction, introduce your allegory and the historical event it represents. Develop a brief summary of the story. 2. Paragraph Two: Explain how the symbols and plot points of your story correspond to the historical event you have selected. Support and develop your connections with detail. Make sure you use correct historical terminology as well as cite your information. 3. Paragraph Three: Use a primary source as an example of the historical event and allegorical theme you are writing about. Example, a primary source explanation of the fear created by the new technologies of WWI (mustard gas).
