Durham Wildlife Trust
Job description: Heathland Heartlands
Heathland Heartlands is an initiative between Durham Wildlife Trust,
communities around the Stanley area, Durham County Council and Natural
England.

knowledge they need to ensure that their local heathland sites are cared for
and valued into the future.
The Heathland Heartlands project officer will engage communities across the
project area, including working with volunteers and delivering training events
