As part of the Year 2 Spelling Programme your child
will receive 5 spelling words per week to learn.
These words are generally high frequency words
that the child will use daily in their Reading and
Writing.

It is important that your child practises these
words daily to reinforce correct spelling and extend
their vocabulary.

The words will be sent home on a Tuesday and the
class peer testing is on Thursday.
