OKLAHOMA SOCIETY OF HEALTH-SYSTEM
PHARMACISTS SCHOLARSHIP
The Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) through its
Board of Directors will award one $1000 scholarship for each College of
Pharmacy in the state of Oklahoma, to a Pharm.D. student in their academic year
prior to graduation (P3) who has expressed an interest in health-system pharmacy
as a career. It is highly encouraged that you are active in your student and/or state
health-system organization. The scholarship will be presented at the Annual
Meeting of the Society during the Awards Banquet.
One important criterion for this scholarship is the ability to effectively
communicate in writing. The Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists is
interested in applicant’s career goals, professional and community involvement, as
well as financial need. The scholarship application consists of (1) a brief written
report, (2) a one page information sheet, (3) a letter of good academic standing
from the university and (4) a single letter of reference.
An application form is attached. Applications should be sent by February
15, 2016, for consideration by the Scholarships and Awards Committee to
