5. METHODOLOGY
This course essentially shows English grammar as a whole, focusing
exclusively on grammar issues and their application to written communication.
Structure shows the building and layering process of grammar, from the
simplest noun and verb structures to truly complex grammatical formulas, thus
consolidating prior learning and introducing new information within a meaningful
and Communicative Approach.
Students therefore become sufficiently
conversant in the meta-language of English grammar enabling them to use it as
a tool: to interact with their English professor about writing improvements, to
effectively edit their own work, and to ultimately become better writers in
English.
