Charitable Giving Policy
Ocado has supported charitable giving since the very beginning, it is part of who we are.
We recognise the vast number of charities and charitable organisations that rely heavily on
fundraising and corporate donations – and we will help where we can and feel able to.
We will consider requests relating to most charitable causes, with the exception of anything
deemed religious, political or too far removed from who and what Ocado as a business
stands for.
Areas we prefer to support include those with a demonstrable link to our business –
promoting and supporting education/employment, promoting healthy eating and eating
well and supporting local environmental issues and activities.
We get contacted by many people and organisations, which can sometimes mean our reply
isn’t as speedy as we would like, but we will always try our best to come back with a
response as quickly as we possibly can. We do ask though, that you contact us with as much
notice ahead of an event as possible, and no less than 1 month before the event itself. We
also ask that you refrain from chasing – we get a lot of requests and will do our best to come
back with a response as quickly as possible.
All charitable donations given by Ocado are at the Company’s discretion and can be recalled
or withdrawn if it is felt they are not being honoured in the manner or spirit they were
intended for. Donations will be in the form of Ocado vouchers, and discretion is expected
regarding what they are spent on. We will consider all requests, but management decision is
final.

This policy can be reviewed at any point, but will be revised no later than 28 February 2015.
