We said good bye to the following individuals/families: The Sandersons The Goodmans Malyah Phillips Cody Marceau Paul & Christine Ricketts hosted 10 great Congregational Fellowships, including: Taco Dinner A Chili and Men’s Pie Baking Contest Dinner for Eight Graduation and Newcomers’ Potlucks Church Picnic Church Talent Show BINGO Trunk or Treat Farkle Night The Young at Heart enjoyed 6 fellowships: Valentines’ Banquet-hosted by the Young Married Group Easter Lunch and Egg Dyeing A Field Trip to Mountain States Children’s Home Thrift Shop and BBQ lunch in Milliken, CO Take Me Out to the Ballgame Trip to Harvest Farms in Wellington, CO Christmas Homemade Gift Exchange We saw the following Building Improvement this year: A new shelter built over the concrete pad behind the building Added double paned windows in north side classrooms Added new speakers in the auditorium to help improve our singing Our parking lot was grated and all potholes filled in. Upgraded audio/video system in Fellowship room We were graced by the presence of 5 Guest Speakers: Doug Fair Franco Verardi Sasha Ingle Rob Sinclair (before he was ours) Byron Benitez And a His Shoes, Her Shoes workshop presented by Wayne and Tami Roberts Our Youth Group was active this year: Hosting our Youth Rally in January Attended Youth Rallies in: Loveland, Casper, Ulysses (KS), and Gillette Attended Silver Maple Bible Camp and Wyoming Bible Camp Went on trips to Water World and Sidney, NE Our Education Department offered a wide variety of Subjects for our Adult Classes: The 10 Dumbest Things Christians Do James Bible Nuggets Family and Parenting Stages of Life Sermon on the Mount Colossians Jesus>Religion Angels Philippians Prescription for ACTS-ion Book of Ruth Life of Joseph The Holy Spirit The Gospel of John Solving the Exodus Mystery Sanctified: Set Apart for a Purpose We added a new Toddler Class and an attended nursery during Sunday AM worship. We were blessed with the addition of our Preaching Intern, Rob Sinclair on June 1st Our Men’s Ministry hosted: Camp-out at the Bohlen’s Golf Tournament at the base Men’s Retreat in Hillsdale Our Women’s Ministry enjoyed: Ladies’ Class on Wednesday nights Making blankets for the Linus Project Ladies’ Day Tea/Brunch Cookie Exchange We had a host of Volunteers that were continually active in: Building Maintenance Children’s Church Nursery Children’s Bible Classes Helping people move Quilting We were involved in many Special Events: MS Walk Relay for Life Relay for Life Meal and Silent Auction Walk for Water Easter Egg Hunt for Children Vacation Bible School Teacher Appreciation Lunch Schneider Appreciation Lunch We had Missionary Teams go to: Lithuania, Papua New Guinea, Haiti, Dubois (WY) Our members were once again most benevolent as they supported several Drives and Collections: Mountain States Children’s Home Change Cans Winter and Summer food drives for Mountain States Children’s Home 2 collections for Mountain States Children’s Home Thrift Store Baby Items for Lifechoice Pregnancy Care Center Coats for the Comea Shelter Sent around 120 Magi boxes to Texas/Mexico border Weekly food bags for local students Thanksgiving baskets for Dildine Elementary students Christmas gifts for Arp Elementary students Our Special Collections throughout the year totaled: $13,490.65, and were used in the following works: Christian Student Center in Laramie Haiti Wyoming Bible Camp Bibles for Lithuania Special Projects around our building India Our Youth Mountain States Children’s Home Guatemala Pay down our mortgage All of this is in addition to our weekly Worship Offerings: Which was over $187,000 …….with a low of $1781.00 ……..and a high of $7212.85 For an average of $3602.43 per week.
