I. Preamble
Dear S&Cers,
The transfer of knowledge and experience in the area of seminars &
conferences should make transition for the newly elected Board
easier. It ensures that all relevant information will be shared and
makes it possible to build upon the work of the previous board
members.

Sometimes, a good transition is difficult to arrange because of time or
distance. Sometimes there is no transition at all. This may be where there is not a successor available or if
materials have not been archived correctly.
To minimize the risk of losing our knowledge and experiences, Lisa Iwersen, Director for Seminars and
Conferences and Human Rights of ELSA Germany 2010/2011, created this checklist which was translated and
revised by me. This checklist should be used by both the outgoing and incoming Board to provide an overview
of S&C information and materials.
This checklist can, of course, be extended. You can also refer to the S&C Handbook for a good overview of
tasks and events. This can be accessed via http://officers.elsa.org.
