Staff in the Juniors
The Juniors are taught by Mrs. Carole Gleed (who is the main Class Teacher and currently teaches the juniors for four days)
Mrs. Louise Watts also teaches the class for one am a week on Fridays. (will resume a full day after Easter)
When staff have to attend meetings or courses we use our regular CRB checked supply teachers Mrs. Penny Smart or Mrs. Nikki Tope to
enable continuity of learning. They are supported by the General Teaching Assistants.
Mrs. Rosie Axford (SENTA) and Mrs. Linsey Hollidge (Fun Fit Coach) are 0.5 part time General Teaching Assistants and Mrs. Shirley Moon is
a LSA-TA for one am per week and Mrs. Emma Smith is a THRIVE SEN TA for one pm, she also supports special educational needs at
Ashwater and across the Carey Federation.
Mrs. Jennings regularly teaches and assists with booster classes and interventions for Year 6 and additional personalised learning support
for the class.
Mrs. Rosie Cawsey is our Music Teacher she teaches the 7 elements of music for 1 hour per week.
Mrs. Alison Clark teaches French to the Juniors for 1 hour per week on Friday pm. (until Easter 2016 then will teach on Wednesday pm)
Mr. Jordan White is the Bude-Haven sport coach for the juniors and infants, and he will arrange various sports after school clubs on
Wednesdays.
Mr. Gilbey peripatetic teacher gives music tuition for individuals currently he teaches clarinet.
Mrs. Shirley Moon is a regular parent volunteer who helps on Monday pm, Wednesday am and Thursday all day.
Mr. Tony Powley supports voluntary Dog Therapy reading sessions.
Mrs. Diana Marriot supports the juniors with reading and literary skills on Tuesday pm.
Mrs Nikki Cummings supports readers for 1 hour on Thursday am.
Mrs. Louise Willetts voluntary helps with photocopying and laminating regularly.
Parent help is always appreciated and we feel fortunate that so many parents offer their skills and time voluntarily throughout the week. We
always appreciate help with transport on local trips. There has been regular help with readers, art and supporting and preparing resources
for learning.
