Llanfoist Poultry & Game Group – 2nd Summer Poultry Show
General information and Rules:
The marquee will open at 9.30am. Pen numbers will be available on the show day.
All birds to be penned by 11.00am when the marquee will be closed for judging.
The Awards Ceremony will take place at 4.30pm, with Boxing from 5pm.
The show is held under the Rules of the Poultry Club of Great Britain. All exhibits
must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor. Every care will be taken of exhibits
but the organisers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred
during or after the show. Exhibitors are responsible for providing food and water for
their poultry. All birds to be in a fit & healthy condition; any birds showing signs of
illness will be removed from the marquee.
Completed entry forms plus entry fees to be sent to Nicola Short, Corner House,
Longtown, HR2 0LE, by Friday 2nd August 2013. Entries are limited to 200 pens
which will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Cheques made
payable to Llanfoist Poultry & Game Group. NO entries will be taken on the day.
Prizes are cards 1st to 3rd Place; Rosettes for Best In Sections. Special Rosette for
Class 63 winner. The Flower-Smith Cup will be awarded for Best in Show, and the
Robin Stephenson Cup for Best in Trio /Pairs Class. Perpetual Trophies to be
returned before next year’s Summer Show, all engravings to be carried out at the
winner’s expense.
All classes are for purebred birds unless stated.
