Fill each pot with either the organic soil or the regular soil. Next plant each plant into each different pot and cover the edges with a little bit of soil to establish the plant. To water, you must have three separate water jugs, one for the organic mix, for the non-organic mix, and just regular water. Depending on the mixture you choose, the measurements to how many teaspoons per gallon may be different. Add the organic mixture to the organic plant, add the non-organic mixture to the regular plant, and last add regular water to the normal plant. When finished with this process put each plant in the sun or shade and water every other day. Every two weeks to a month, you want to add the organic mixtures or non-organic mixtures to the plants when watering them. Observations: This process may take a while to show results but it is amazing what each plant looks like after taken care of with each different mixture. Be careful to not over water the plants, that has a lot of effects on them when using the mixtures. Conclusion: When taking care of plants and the soils we use, it helps to learn what we are doing to the environment around us. So before you dig up the soil, be sure you are putting back the nutrients that it needs to help establish the trees and plants on this earth. In the end, gardening is a great stress reliever and it gets people out doors. Other similar experiments that could have been done could have been planting trees in the community and watch them grow. You could also use this to test other organic products that say are great for the earth’s environment.
