Message from the Principal Mondays Congratulations to our three running stars Minka, Otis and Anna for their efforts at the regional cross country, we are all so proud of your achievements. Art Tuesdays * Cooking with Liz Thursdays * Library with Rosemary Friday June 5 Athletics Carnival @ Wyndham Monday June 8 HOLIDAY!!! While I have not been able to be on class this week due to relieving principal obligations, I did sneak in and have a look at the kid’s sea of hands that they have been creating for reconciliation week. They look fabulous and I cannot wait to get them up on display (photo next week). We are certainly fortunate to have Kaz as our casual teacher to look after and support our children. Outdoor Expedition Monday and Tuesday’s ‘Outdoor Expedition’ with stage 3 children from Tanja, Wyndham and Towamba was a great success despite the cancelling of the Kianinny Bay to Bournda walk. We all enjoyed the outdoor activities organised and run by the Bournda EEC crew. Our kids demonstrated great social skills, respect and compassion while working with kids from other schools. Tuesday June 9 Willow, Luke, Minka & Eve to Bournda Wednesday June 10 & Thursday June 11 Movie Making Camp for Ebony, Minka, Bodhi, Anna, Becky, Archie & Linya. 100 Word Challenge The deadly plant Principal’s Calendar Mum brought home a plant, it was a strange sort of plant. I'd never seen a plant like it. It was sort of purple but it had a tint of green in it. Wednesday June 10 & Thursday June 11 “I bought you a plant" Movie Making Camp – Kaz on class, also on Friday as Ms Crowe will be away. "Yes I see that what kind of plant is it?” “I don't know, the lady I bought it from was very weird, she died as I picked up the plant." "Did you phone the ambulance or the police?!" "No" "Why?" “I don't know I just didn't want to get involved." So as she lifted the lid to the jar the plant was in and boom the plant grew all-over the room and suffocated us.
