You and your partner will research one of the causes of the American Revolution. 2. You will be given a large sheet of paper. Divide your sheet of paper by drawing the lines shown below: 3. Write the year and the assigned cause in the top section. A. PARTNER 1 (ACTION) a. Draw an illustration that depicts the event (your assigned cause) that took place in the middle left section. Make sure it is directly based on events as discovered in your research. Be creative! Make use of color. Label this section “ACTION.” b. Summarize your event in essay form in the bottom left section. Be sure to use the 5 Ws (Who, Why, When, Where, What) when summarizing. Your illustration and essay will be graded individually. B. PARTNER 2 (REACTION) a. Draw an illustration that depicts the reaction to this event (either from the colonists or the British) in the middle right section. Make sure it is directly based on events as discovered in your research. Be creative! Make use of color. Label this section “REACTION.” b. Write an essay describing the reaction to this event and how it contributed to the American Revolution in the bottom right section. Your illustration and essay will be graded individually. 4. Your drawings will be placed alongside the drawings of your classmates in order to create a storyboard portraying the chain of events that led to the American Revolution. 5.
