End of Day procedures
Could we please remind parents that, if you give permission to the school for someone else to collect on your
behalf, the welfare form you would have completed when they started at the school, may need updating. It may
be that you have forgotten to remove or add to the list as situations change. If you need to check, please see the
class teacher. If you need a new form please call at the school office. Any form you complete will replace the
current one.
Homework Lunchtime Club
There will be a Homework Lunchtime Club for all pupils in Year 1 to Year 6 every
Monday and Friday lunchtime. Children are welcome to pop into class after their lunch
to complete their homework with their class teacher. See you there!

Parent Volunteer Helpers
Do you have some time to spare? Do you have a skill that you can share for example are you musical, artistic,
or a cooking enthusiast? Maybe you would just like to come and hear some children read? If so then we
welcome all parents into the school. If you are interested then please call at the school office and add your
name to the parent helper list or email Mrs Law at admin@purfleetprimary.thurrock.sch.uk. Please note that we
are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in our care, and all volunteers must
share in this commitment. As such all helpers will be subject to a police check.
A gentle reminder
Could you please ensure that you advise the school office if there have been any changes to your contact details
or circumstances, financial or otherwise. Changes in your financial circumstances could mean that you are
entitled to free meals or resources so please remember to tell us. Many thanks!
Please don’t forget Parent View - your chance to tell us what you think about our school. Visit
https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/. You will be asked your opinions about how well children are
