Family Information
ALH Genetics of Holland purchased Durham Daisy as a bred heifer at one of the
Markwell Holsteins Sales. Durham Daisy developed into a wonderful individual
being the 3rd Sr 2 Year Old at World Dairy Expo 2002. With ALH being based in
Holland, Adolph decided to house many of her offspring at Regancrest Holsteins.
Now we are seeing the power of the Raven cow family come through, proving
Durham Daisy as a true brood cow. Durham Daisy has 1 EX, 7 VG and 3 GP
registered daughters in the US. One of her best daughters is O-Man Destiny, the dam
of Doodad and Devious has 17 VG and 7 GP daughters. I remember seeing O-Man
Destiny at Regancrest as a just fresh two year old. Being sired by O-Man I was
worried about the udder attachments and seam. Destiny did not disappointment me
as I believe she was one of the fanciest O-Man two year olds in the country.
Breeders around the world will be familiar with this pedigree and remember bulls
such as Reckless, Nobel, Ramses and REECE stem from this great Raven cow
family. A peak above at the pedigree shows Doodad is a Mac son x VG-87 O-Man
