Daughter Information
GERWYN sires daughters that seem to display the best of both his closest
sires, Freddie and Goldwyn. The daughters of this bull consistently
demonstrate a commercially viable balance of stature, strength, and dairy
form. These cows maintain adequate condition throughout their lactation.
The rump angle tends to be level, and the feet and legs are admirable as the
cows walk with a steep foot angle and an ideal set to the hock when viewed
from the side. The mammary systems on GERWYN daughters are wellattached in the fore udder and rear udder while showing above average
height and width. The length to the udders are average, and they are carried
adequately above the hocks. This bull tends to shorten teats somewhat and
provides nearly ideal placement. This bull’s well-rounded profile should
make him a versatile option in breeding programs.
Mating Information
GERWYN will run well in herds using the following GMS options:
Intensive Management and CM$.
