Choose ONE option only:
A) You are to create two objects: one that represents proactive and another that represents reactive choices. The
objects can be illustrated or constructed. Either way, they must be CREATED by you! Additional requirements
are listed below:
a. The objects must be larger than half a foot each (same with illustrations)
b. Illustrations must be in color (or sketches must include shading); constructed objects must be approved
c. You must have a paragraph (5 sentences minimum) explaining why each object represents proactive or
reactive responses (for a total of 10 sentences)
B) You are to create a mission statement for yourself that is modeled after one of the mission statements
demonstrated in your text (see pages 81-82, 91). Additional requirements are listed below:
a. Poem mission statements (pg. 81) must have at least 100 words and must be typed
b. Acrostic mission statements (pg.82) must be on a poster board and utilize 5 or more colors
c. Daily (bulleted) mission statements (pg.82) must have at least 100 words and must be typed
d. Bookmark mission statements (pg.91) should be turned in looking like an actual bookmark (laminated
preferably)
e. One phrase mission statements (pg.91) must be on a poster board and utilize 5 or more colors
