High Octane: Unleaded x Ceaser We know what some of you are thinking a blue ram?! But this isn’t your granddaddy’s blue sheep; High Octane broke the mold. This fall embryo flush from Rule Sheep Company is an Unleaded x Ceaser ewe from Brad Dale. This outcross for our flock will bring Shape, Shape, Shape! Tall and extended through his front end, dead level over the top, and has one of the biggest hips that you’ll ever see in a sheep. Plus he has plenty of shag to boot! This ram has got plenty of power and show ring look to bring to his first generation of lamb crop at our farm this winter. White Knight: Buckle Down (Guywire grandson) x Skidgel If you’re looking for structure, a super thick top, and plenty of volume of muscle, this knight is here to save the day! Purchased from Larry Shell, this ram was sired by Buckle Down (Guywire grandson) x Skidgel ewe. His pedigree builds on the Brian Johnson genetics currently in our ewe flock base. White Knight has extreme rack and rib shape and it’s all wrapped up in a smooth, attractive package. We’re excited to have this ram starting new this year and to “knight” some great replacement ewes and show lambs for next summer. 80: Double Play x Grand Slam Johnson's Major League Double Play 80 Grand Slam This was the first ram used on our farm and really laid the foundation for our flock. We used this double bred Johnson ram sired by Double Play for three years until he died unexpectedly this summer. 80 was massive down his top, shallow chested, superior structurally and he carried this on to his progeny. This ram is the daddy, granddaddy, and even great granddaddy to almost all of our champions thus far. Our sincere thanks to Brian Winters for selling us this foundation sire. 732: Ultra’s Ego x Kinsley We leased, and eventually purchased, this ram from Kinglsey show lambs in the summer of 2010. Because of the untimely death of 80 most of our lambs in the 2011 season are out of this buck. An Ultra Ego son he conveys those traits that Ultra is known for, a huge top, excellent pin set with plenty of bone and shag. Chucky: 5110 x RCR We leased this ram for the one breeding season and have been pleased with his results. This ram is a son of RCR’s 5110 sire and conveys all the traits Hancock sires are known for.
