Who will be an example for their peers, not being afraid to help them and lead them to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That students would not see church, or Jesus, as just a crutch or something to do, but that they would see it as a way of life. That they would take their relationship with Jesus beyond the walls of their church and home, and that it would become a way of life. Requirements: Be present at the following: Wednesday Night pre-meeting prayer The Rock (Wednesday Night Youth) Sunday School (9:30am) Sunday Morning Worship (10:45am) Sunday Evening Worship (6:30pm) Discipleship Group Student Leadership Meetings (3rd Sunday every 2 months) “This may seem like a lot of things to do, but I believe that the more you emerge yourself into God’s Word with fellow Christians the stronger your faith with become. I also understand as students you have very busy and sometimes difficult schedules. I desire to grow my relationship with God through prayer and by reading the Word of God. I desire to grow into the person God wants me to be. I will lead in unity. I will be a team player by encouraging others and making others successful. This includes treating others in the youth ministry with respect. I will lead in moral integrity. I will be the same person in and outside the church. I will not consume illegal drugs, drink alcohol, or use tobacco. I will not be involved in any immoral relationships. I will not view any sexually explicit material (movies, internet, etc.) I will lead in my words. I will speak well of others, those over me, under me, and next to me. This includes my pastor, youth pastor, parents, adult leaders, fellow students, and others in the church. I will lead in my wisdom. By not placing myself in compromising situations that would cause others to question my commitment to Jesus Christ. I will lead in commitment. I will commit myself to the youth ministry and the work in it. I will be present at all regular church and youth activities that my schedule allows. I will lead in mentoring. I will be a mentor and encourager to other students in the youth ministry, especially those that are younger than me that God places on my heart. I will lead in serving. I will take the heart and action of a servant. I will set aside my personal wants and needs for others and meet the needs of the moment. I will be the hands and feet of Jesus. I will lead in a positive attitude. I will speak words of encouragement to others and have joy in serving. I will lead in my Christian witness. I will be active in sharing my faith as God gives me opportunities. I will lead in spiritual passion. Through worship, and having a passion and desire for God and His Word. I will lead in my giving. I will give of my time and self to God and the church. If earn money I will tithe at least 10% of my income to the church. Malachi 3:8-10 I will lead in accountability.
