Workshop Fee: $3,800.00
50% deposit is due at the time of BOOKING. The balance is due on day of arrival.
Because many businesses and sub-contractors will be making purchases and holding space during their busy summer schedule so that the Workshop can go forward, the following applies to deposits:
25% of the deposit will be held back for cancellations that occur before May 25th, 2015.
The full deposit is non-refundable when cancellations occur after May 25th, 2015.

The term “tour” includes but is not limited to guided boat tours, bus tours, forest and beach walks and all activities, excursions, services, and use of facilities or equipment either provided by or arranged by Xaadaa
Xaayalang Nee/The House of Haida Weavers. This includes orientation, instructional sessions or classes, transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, water supply and all travel by or movement around any boat, van, any other vehicles, on foot or any other means of transportation.
I am aware that tour and wilderness activities involve risks, danger and hazards. Wilderness areas are uncontrolled, unmarked, not inspected, and can have extreme weather conditions. Risks and dangers may include, but are not limited to: body parts, drowning, hypothermia, equipment failure, encounters with animals, impact or collision, becoming lost or separated from the group, or negligence of other persons.
Communication may be difficult, and in the event of an accident or illness, rescue, medical treatment and evacuation may not be available or may be delayed.
Non-Scheduled or Emergency Evacuation, Rescue or First Aid: I acknowledge and agree that all expenses associated with non-scheduled or emergency evacuation, rescue or first aid will be my responsibility and will not be covered by The House of Haida Weavers or any of its sub-contractors.
I confirm that I have read and understood this document prior to signing it, and I am aware of the risks, dangers and hazard associated with tour and wilderness activities in which I am participating, and I freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers, and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting thereof.

At the time of Booking we require a 50% deposit. The balance is due the day of arrival, June 8th. If you cancel before May 25th, 2015, we will hold back 25% of the deposit. The full deposit is non-refundable after May 25th, 2015.
In the event that we are able to book someone else in your space before May 25th, 2015 we will refund the full deposit. We do not want to charge you unless it costs us. If you have to cancel it may serve you to help fill the position.
We suggest cancellation insurance, which is usually about 7% of the cost of the tour. Cancellation insurance covers you in case of illness or accident to you, a family member, or travelling companion, and in case of jury duty. We do not provide or coordinate for this insurance.
I have read the Cancellation Policy and understand that the Airfare round trip to Haida Gwaii, the Boat
Tour and accommodations at Cacilia’s B&B are mandatory to participating in the “Spruce Root Weaving and Cultural Workshop” June 8 th -17th, 2015.
