Zion clothes closet and Children’s Ministries. Consignor Information 70% of Selling Price to Consignor, 30% to Benefit Footsteps Preschool and Afterschool. 1. You must sort, clean and tag your items prior to delivery. 2. Bring tagged items to Mt. Zion Wesleyan during a scheduled "drop-off" time: -Monday, April 8th: 9am-12pm, or 4-7pm -Tuesday, April 9th: 9am-12pm, or 4-7pm 3. Consignors with 25+ items can also shop the pre-sale on Wednesday, April 10th 6:30-8pm. 4. Pick up any unsold items on Saturday, April 13th from 4-5pm. Any items not picked up by 5pm will be donated to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church clothes closet and Mt. Zion children's ministries. 5. Bring a self addressed stamped envelope with your consigner #, this will be used to mail your proceeds at the end of the sale. Checks will be mailed to you 2-3 weeks after the sale ends. 6. You set your own price. We suggest pricing items 1/4 to 1/3 the original price. Name brand and in good condition will sell for more. Price items in increments of $1.00. 7. Bring your items in a large Rubbermaid container (no lids please) to leave during the drop-off process. Please place your consigner # on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper taped securely to one end of the container. This will make for a more efficient pick-up on Saturday. If you are donating your items at the end of the sale then you do not need to bring a Rubbermaid container. Bring only spring & summer baby and children's clothes (up to size 16), maternity clothing and related items, shoes, toys, games, books, videos, costumes, baby equipment, outdoor toys, etc. (Include working batteries). Children’s furniture must be set-up. Car seats must be less than 5 years old and accident free. DO NOT BRING any recalled items, drop-sided cribs or items with stains, holes, broken or missing pieces. No underwear. Stuffed animals limited to 5 per consignor. Ensure none of your items are on the recalled list! www.saferproducts.gov *Footsteps reserves the right to decline any item! Tagging instructions 1. Use a 3x5" index card, hanging vertically, and safety pinned at the top. You must use a safety pin, no straight pins. Pin the tag on the front, right side of the item. Pin tag here. 2. Hangers must be facing left. Safety pin skirts, shorts, pants or loose items to top of hanger to prevent sliding. 3. Place shoes, bibs, hair bows, socks, and mittens in a ziplock bag. Shoes must be one pair per ziplock bag. Other items may be combined into bags. Tape the tag, on 3 sides, to the outside of the bag 4. Tape tags, on 3 sides, to toys, equipment, books, videos, etc. 5. Give the item a description. (Describe them well so in the event that a tag falls off, we can properly match your item to the tag). If you wish to donate any unsold items, please write a "D" on the bottom right corner of the tag. Volunteer Information You will sign up in 4 hour time blocks. Volunteers who work 4 or more hours can attend the pre-sale on Wednesday 5-6:30 pm. If you work 8 hours we will give you 2 tickets to the pre-sale! Volunteer Opportunities include: Receive and sort items, assist on the sales floor, de-tag purchases, carry large items for shoppers, set-up and take down, and more!
