SOUTHWEST REGION SUNDAY SCHOOL COMPETITION
The 2014 Southwest Regional Sunday School competitions will be held at St Paul's Marthoma
Church of Dallas on Saturday, August 16th, 2014 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participant grade level
classification will be based on the participant’s grade in the 2013-2014 Sunday school year.
The following competitions will be held:
Singing:
Kindergarten through Primary Junior (K- 4th grade) – First two Stanzas
of the song (Top two performers from each grade.)
Junior through Senior High ( 5th - 12th Grade) – First two Stanzas of the song
(Top two boys and two girls from each grade.)
Judging Criteria:
Sound quality (pitch, voice), Dynamics (Rhythm, time, volume)
Phrasing (depth, clarity), and Presentation
Kindergarten
Primary 1st & 2nd Grade
Primary Junior 3rd & 4th Grade
Junior 5th & 6th Grade
Junior High 7th & 8th Grade
Senior 9th & 10th Grade
Senior High 11th & 12th Grade

Flash Cards may be used for references. Reading is not recommended.
