Sterilizer Checklist:

For all new installations and sterilizers with PACS2000 controls and
newer, one RJ-45 Ethernet LAN or Hub socket is needed in the
service area behind the controls within 5 feet of the floor.
Washer Checklist:

One RJ-45 Ethernet LAN or Hub socket per Getinge NetCOM within 5
feet of the service area of the washer located above the control panel
on the Decontam side of the washer;

Dependent on model of instrument washer a 110V power outlet or
power over Ethernet capable network switch is required to power the
Getinge NetCOM. Refer to T-DOC Implementation Specialist as
necessary. Power outlet not required for Cart Washers or CM320
IP Addresses - Static or a MAC Reservation on a DHCP address
Ensure that IP Address is not taken by another device on the network
(PING)
VPN Access - access to the Application Server; Getinge can complete any
necessary forms for access to be granted

Obtain Static or MAC Reserved IP addresses for each machine
Ensure that IP Address is not taken by another device on the network (PING)
Service Rep - Install connectivity hardware (NetCOM’s)
Update NetCOMs to latest firmware – If update needed, ensure to set Factory Defaults
On NetCOM:

Assign Static Address, Subnet, and Gateway (If applicable)

Set Time Zone and Set Date/Time from host PC

Set Config Apps to correct version of PACs and ID

Disable PACs Time Sync
Install App, Connect Server and (V11+) Client, Print, Spool, & Job Services from
Service Manager
License server for Machine Viewer
Set Service Manager to AutoStart
Place on desktop:

My Computer (renamed as server name)

Configure Terminal Services to disallow everything but Clipboard
Start – Administrative Tools – Remote Desktop Services – Remote Desktop Session

Install Admin and Machine Viewer on designated desktop(s) – edit the ini file to include
the computer name.
Establish T-DOC Admin accounts for administrator and users
*Update Machine Profiles – one profile per model

Type – Sterilizer or Washer depending on unit
Use Native Log – TRUE
Analog Inputs – Chamber Temp, Chamber Pressure (or PSIA), & Jacket Temp
o Set them to respective Type. Ensure to use #1 first.
*Setup one model per machine unless AGS in use
