Kids won’t necessarily get the structure from writer’s workshops. Need Step Up to Writing to establish organizational skills in student writing! No SuccessMaker?! What a loss for my school! My teachers used this so well this year to support gaps in learning. Please keep mountain math. We at Henry, have used it in Tier I, and provided the review we need. (II repetitions) 3rd, 4th, 5th, (Math, CSAPS) Please reconsider Step Up as an intervention Tier II and Tier III – Gains in CSAP – Henry, Thanks Montessori is core Tier I at Buena Vista. We are looking at gaps when we align to CAS and will look for ways to fill those gaps with supported D11 core and supplemental materials. Mountain math supports cycle scaffolded learning Kim Sutton strategies is not a program. What is the writing curriculum for 11-12 on replacement budget? Training for new staff in currently used programs. Ongoing training for any newly adopted series. For 2011-2012, there is $1,005,920 budgeted for writing….what does that entail?? Need to provide yearly training in all programs for newly hired staff through new teacher orientation. What are we adopting for writing? Math Interventions> Why are facilitators making lots of decisions 1st – Should be principals and teachers who are on the front line? 5 Schools at our table have no writing curriculum. What will is instead 5 components of reading are not an intervention I am so happy to hear there is a plan to address curriculum material needs. Budget – Is it possible to give us papers that are black and white to save $ for colored copies?
