STEAM Box/ Roberto Gonzalez will be required to perform the following work scope:
1. In collaboration with the administration of Dr. Jorge Alvarez High School, develop a joint
messaging and communications plan for STEAM with a schedule of activities including, but not
limited to:

High demand, high wage occupations with a focus on STEAM
College and Career readiness requirements
Engineering education opportunities
Digital learning access with a partnership to Khan Academy
The scientific method as part of all direct service programming
2. Provide structured opportunities for industry professionals to interact with students to provide
career awareness information in STEAM;
3. Provide students opportunities to use free web-based tools to develop academic support as well
as career interest inventories and career plans;
4. Report to guidance on student interest patterns for use in high school PGPs (Personal Graduation
Plans);
In no more than three paragraphs, describe the accountability measures that will ensure that the vendor
meets all requirements set forth in the contract and that the district is able to maintain a record of the
quality of the services.
Every contract should include explicit language requiring vendor accountability, i.e. required program evaluation
or the submission of a final report summarizing progress against each itemized deliverable.

nationally.
7. Number of high school students being honored or awarded scholarships because of first party
STEAM work.
8. Improved student engagement and attendance at school.
9. Annual report on all activities and a data summary identifying interest patterns of students for
high school STEAM programs.
