CALL FOR PROPOSALS European Union-Funded Research Opportunities for Brown doctoral, postdoctoral and staff candidates New deadline: February 28th 23:45 Brussels local time NOVA DOMUS is an Erasmus Mundus Key Action 2 project which aims to facilitate research and education links across a consortium of universities in Europe and North America in the fields of: medical sciences public health natural sciences physics and engineering Brown is the single U.S. university partner in a 48/month, 1.32 million European Union (EU) funded Erasmus Mundus Nova Domus research mobiity grant in science and technology. This project offers exciting opportunities for Brown doctoral, post-doctoral and staff candidates whose work focuses on human health, well-being and communication to undertake a period of research/ work/ training (1-11 months depending on level, see below) in one of the partner universities in North America to the benefit of both the individual, and their wider research area. NEXT STEPS 1. Check if your area of work is available at the partner universities in Europe. Under https://emecw.gis.lu.se/priorityFields.aspx?location=all&lot=NOVADOMUS - you can search the available fields of study/ research and check which universities in the consortium are offering incoming positions in this area, and at what level. If your area of work is listed at one of the European partners then you can apply for it. Non-Academic Staff are also eligible to apply under the Staff category - and this can be in any area or field of work e.g. International Office or in any department offering a solid training (administrative staff). 2. Contact the named person for that field of work at the partner university to express your interest in the opportunity, your background and to begin a discussion about your application and possible program of work. 3. Seek approval from your Department Chair. 4.
