Carey School of Business DEPARTMENT: School of Accountancy TITLE: Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor CATEGORY: Non Tenure Track Faculty 100% FTE Academic Appointment POSITION DESCRIPTION: Full-time, non-tenure-track faculty holding the rank of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor in the School of Accountancy in the W. P. Carey School of Business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The candidate must contribute to the School of Accountancy’s mission primarily in the areas of teaching, curriculum development, and service. The candidate must be able to deliver excellent instruction and to contribute to curriculum development at the undergraduate and master’s levels. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) A doctorate in business administration or a closely related field; 2) AACSB Academically Qualified (AQ) status DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Potential for or demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development, especially in the areas of accounting information systems or taxation; 2) Potential for or demonstrated ability to integrate accounting research into the curriculum; 3) A doctorate in business administration or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited business school; 4) A recent record of publications in peer reviewed journals.
