We will review weekly phonic lessons that go along with our reading program by playing
games and doing activities. This is a great way for your child to practice skills taught
within the classroom. Meet Ms. Garrigan in the front lobby at 7:50AM for some phonics
fun. She will walk all students to their classrooms at the start of our school day.

Come join an after school ELL group! Students in grades K-2 are welcome to practice

We will focus upon some fun games that we all love to play. A large emphasis will be
placed on sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill building. Students will compete in games and
in a tournament friendly, competitive environment ideal for the spring weather. At the
end of the session, each child will take home a kickball.

LEGO CLUB

Lego Club is a club for all levels of Lego builders. Each week students will be asked to
show their creativity through Lego creations. There will be free time to let imaginations
run wild, as well as themes for guided creativity. At the end of each weekly session there
will be a discussion of building methods, designs, and outcomes for group or guided
projects, as well as time for “Show & Tell” for individual creations. Lego Club is for
students of all abilities in grades K-5. For students who enjoy Duplo versions of Legos,
there will be plenty of larger blocks available for building Duplo creations.
