Subject:
Kansas State University Research Foundation Stipend Supplement for Innovation
Excellence
I am pleased to announce that the Graduate School is accepting nominations for the KSU
Research Foundation Stipend Supplement for Innovation Excellence for the 2014-2015 academic
year. This program was initiated in 2012 by the KSU Research Foundation Board of Directors
as a way to recruit top candidates to K-State graduate programs by offering graduate research
assistantship packages that are highly competitive. Stipend supplements enhance the maximum
package a graduate program can offer to top candidates, making the total package a partnership
between the graduate program resources and those of the Graduate School. Preference will be
given to areas of research where the generation of patentable intellectual property is likely and to
students who propose to work with research faculty who have a track record of creating and
disclosing patentable intellectual property to the KSU Research Foundation.
