Subject content Determination of lexical semantics place in relation to the tangent discipline: lexicology, semantics and pragmatics. Attention is directed to the linguistic sign: its nature and characteristics. The key terms are: system, structure, distinctiveness, contrast, phrases and paradigms. It gives an overview of the concepts related to the functioning of language in terms of lexis. It monitors and explains the behavior of the structure elements of the morphological level related to processuality, ie. dynamics of linguistic manifestation in the communication process. It studies the meaning of the elements of the structure below the level of words and idioms.
