Focused Interest Communities Each living area (Bluff, Cougar Village, Evergreen, Prairie, and Woodland) houses several different Focused Interest Communities (FICs). At this time, University Housing has not determined where each FIC will be located. University Housing encourages you to consider these as possibilities when applying for the RA position. One of the references must be a member of the SIUE community. Community Directors and Assistant Community Directors are ineligible to complete Reference Forms unless they have served as your supervisor in a paid position. If you choose to have your Resident Assistant fill out a Reference Form, you must submit two Reference Forms IN ADDITION to the form from the Resident Assistant. The Reference Forms which can be downloaded from the website should be completed and sent electronically to applyforra@siue.edu by the specific deadline listed below. The forms will only be accepted electronically via e-mail to applyforra@siue.edu. It is your responsibility to ensure that the completed references arrive on time.
