Completed application form (pages 2‒3 of this document) 2. CV or résumé detailing your current and past academic and non-academic accomplishments (including research projects and teaching) 3. Graduate school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable) 4. Personal statement detailing your preparations for this program and how your participation will serve your research and/or professional goals (350 words maximum, typed and double-spaced) 5. A letter of recommendation from the professional reference listed on your application form (sent in sealed envelope or from reference’s institutional email account). Please do not fax. One letter of recommendation is required. You may supply additional letters. For PhD applicants, priority will be granted to those who have completed their coursework. The course fee of $5,300 includes tuition, lodging, and on-campus meals. A workshop-only rate is available for $3,800. Most students accepted to the program will qualify for a full or partial grant. Full or partial grants may be available for PhD students and postdocs through funding made available by the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NA-24) via the Next Generation Safeguards Initiative (NGSI), under Award Number DE-NA0002327; and support may also be provided by the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NA-22) via the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium (NSSC) under Award Number DE-NA0000979.
