Student A: What is Stonehenge?
Tour Guide: Stonehenge is a group of megalith in south-west of England but also
an archaeological site. It’s the most famous prehistoric sites in the world! This
group of rock is called Cromlech. A cromlech is a circle of rock. Stonehenge is
called also blue stone because they are blue.
Student C: I have two questions. Who built Stonehenge? Is that very old?
That construction has got three phases about its construction: 3000 BC, 2100 BC
and 2000 BC. First questions were in the period of Henry de Huntingon and
Goeffrey de Monmouth: the twelfth century. Historical think that Stonehenge
was realize like a religious object for Neolithic people and Celts, but modern
study think about an astronomical observatory and probably a calendar too.
Stonehenge was built in the Neolithic age but it isn’t certs who realize that
cromlech. The most probable option is that Stonehenge was built by Neolithic
people. They used wood’s stale for build that stone and a group of man draw the
stones with a kind of trap. Is there any other questions?
Student B: So why many people affirm Stonehenge is so mysterious and
fascinating? I can’t understand…
Tour Guide: Stonehenge nowadays is very mysterious and fascinating because we
like image why Stonehenge was built because today we can’t affirm certainly why
Stonehenge was built and all the historical say probable option about this
construction. Thank you for your attention, souvenir shop in at the left of the exit,
