Nuclear Chemistry Project: Due 2/7
You are going to research, write and present on a topic in nuclear medicine. Nuclear medicine is broken down into
Radiopharmaceuticals, Radioimaging/diagnostics, and Radiation/Disease treatment. When choosing a topic be
specific, ie: use of Barium isotopes in radioimaging. This will help when writing your research paper.
Research Paper Guidelines:
 Typed- Double Spaced and 1 inch Margins
 Times New Roman 12 pt font in black (nothing squirrely)
 Separate work cited page
 MLA Header and MLA Title page
 Your structure should be Clearly written and have Cohesive Paragraphs (that are indented correctly)
 Use of correct spelling and correct grammar (no slang)
 Attach Hand written rough draft
Presentations Guidelines:
 Clearly spoken and easily understood. Don’t be BLAH!!
 Well rehearsed/ may use note cards but don’t read directly off them.
 Can easily answer questions asked about your topic
 Should be at least 3 minutes long. Time yourself when you practice, you will speak faster when you
present in front of the class.
