Teacher of the Month
Ms. Maria is our teacher of the month this
month! Ms. Maria one of our wonderful teachers
in the preschool classroom, she has done some
many things to make the preschool classroom
her own. She has worked hard to create a
classroom that the children would love to be in
and to come to school everyday. It makes her
whole day when the preschoolers come up and
greet Maria in the morning. When Ms. Maria isn’t
teaching you can find her at Kohl’s shopping and
looking for all the great deals! Ms. Maria also
loves to eat any type of food. She has three kids
and is happily married to her husband of over 20
years.

Infants

Welcome to fall season in the infant room! This month
theme is Spaces and Places. We will be doing our wet
and messy exercise with mash potatoes. The art that we
will be working on is our truck tracks. We also will be
learning about the different spaces and places that we
visit. Please make sure to check your child’s cubby to
take home any clothes that no longer fit or the clothing is
to chilly for your child to wear. Please make sure that you
are also clipping your child’s nails daily for the safety of
the other children as well.
Toddlers

Welcome to fall in the Toddler Room! Our September
theme for this month is Spaces and Places. Please
welcome our new teacher Ms. Evette! We will also be
having Ms. Kayla from the infant room joining our class!
We have many activities planned for this month. We will
be learning about working in a construction site. We are
going to be talking about some of the places we visit on a
weekly bases. We are going to be doing our truck tracks.
We will be doing our sensory exercise of working at a
construction site.
Learning Adventures

Welcome to the new school year! Enrollment for Learning
Adventures is in full swing, speak to management about
the possible extra classes you can enroll your child in. As
an enrichment program, phonics can give your child the
low ratio for learning in addition to our schools
curriculum. This month our vowels and blending class will
be reviewing letters and blending words like an, at, you,
too. Letters and sounds class will be continuing their
phonic awareness, phonics of their letters, and early
writing skills. We are having our cooking class every
week! Sign up with our management team today! Please
fill free to ask Mrs. Amanda to test your child to
determine a baseline of their phonological awareness
today!
Discovery Preschool.

Welcome to Fall in Discovery Preschool! This month
we will be exploring our new curriculum All About Me.
Throughout this month our children will learn all about
themselves; from the color of their eye, hair, and skin.
We will have a lot of fun this month learning about
ourselves and our friends around us! We will be
making our own self portraits, making charts to see
who’s taller and who’s a short, comparing eye color,
and making our own family chains! We will also be
doing a lot of sensory activities such as smelly
containers, sensory bottles, touch and feel bags,
having a taste test of sour and sweet foods, and
exploring different instrument sounds.
Preschool

Welcome to Preschool, for the month on September
we will be learning all about me! We will be doing
exercises that will be focused around learning more
about your child. We will be learning about our many
different families and learning about our sisters and
brothers. We will also be discussing what places we
visit to see our families and our home life. Please
remember to bring in family pictures during this time
to share with the class! Also, please remember to
check your child’s cubby for all clothes that don’t fit or
are not appropriate for the weather.
Pre-K

Welcome to the fall school year! This month we will
be learning about ourselves! All About Me will offer
pre-k the opportunity to share about themselves and
their families while also learning about each other.
Ask the teachers about our All About Me project we
have for your children! This month we will also be
learning about our home and family. The time
children spend at home with their families teaches
them about family roles and routines, and helps
children form the values that will foster their growth
and development as they become older! Please
remember to bring in family pictures during this time
to share with the class! Also, please remember to
check your child’s cubby for all clothes that don’t fit or
are not appropriate for the weather. We also would
love to welcome Ms. Desirre to our classroom!
