Waihi Ladies golf report extra 19 August 2012
Ladies Matchplay Championship finals were played on Sunday August 19. The day’s forecast of
heavy rain did not eventuate, instead there was a period of heavy showers that lasted little more
than half an hour, much to everyone’s relief.

Bronze 1 Division over 36 holes: Mavis Bruce b Jacquie Bain 7 and 5.
Bronze 2 Division over 18 holes: Susan Mustard b Avon Gordon 1 up.
Bronze 3 Division over 18 holes: Marie Wyatt b Chris Mercer 4 and 3
Bronze 1 Plate over 18 holes: Heather Walker b Dot Ramsey on 20th hole.
Bronze 2 Plate over 18 holes: Pat Sandford b Jane Crawford 3 and 2
