Easter Wreath Easter is around the corner! Yikes! But we still have time to make a wreath for your front door with this easy and inexpensive tutorial. Items that you’ll need: ~72 plastic eggs 1 bag of Easter grass pencil hot glue gun cardboard ribbon to make your bow 2.5” 16” Step 1: Cut out a wreath from a piece of cardboard. Use a bowl as a stencil for the outside and a smaller one for the inner circle. (Diameter: Outside 18”; Inside 12” This is rather large) Step 2: After cutting out your wreath, start gluing your eggs onto the cardboard. You will end up making two lines of glue ½” from the outside border and ½” from the inside border. Glue the eggs’ “rears” together. Step 3: Once you have glued the first two rows, begin gluing another row of eggs along the top in a random fashion on top of the existing eggs. There’s no formula to it. Just add them in a random manner just the way you want them to look. Step 4: Once you have covered your piece of cardboard with your eggs, start covering up the holes using Easter grass. I used the end of a pencil so my fingers wouldn’t get burned. Grab a pinch of the grass, squeeze out some glue into the gap and then push the grass in with your pencil. Go all the way around and fill in the empty spaces. Step 5: After gluing all of your eggs onto the wreath, make a bow and tie/glue it onto the top center of the wreath. Be sure to include a piece of ribbon for hanging purposes. 13.5”
