(2) Mr Luke Foley also made a statement in support of his notice being accorded priority— That this House: (1) Supports restoring integrity to local government by banning property developers and real estate agents from holding elected office as Councillors. (2) Supports restoring integrity to local government by introducing donations and spending caps for local government elections. (2) In particular recognises SES volunteers in the Sydney Western Region, Sydney Southern Region and Illawarra South Coast Region. (3) Recognises the incredible contribution that thousands of SES volunteers make right across the State. Debate ensued. Mr Gareth Ward, by leave, also spoke to the motion.
